well you know, this is the mentality that stops people wearing silly clothes and smiling at strangers in the street - the notion that someone about whose opinion you don't actually care might say something rude.

i'm happy because i'm actually going to play some guitar tonight, for the first time in maybe 4 days i think. but it's kind of mor elike i'm going to be happy when i'm playing guitar, not that i'm happy right now. right now i'm tense as hell. so this is a note to remind myself that within the next four hours i will be happy.
