My stupid fucking cell phone screen decided to die today. I'm not sure if I want to try to take it apart and reseat the cable or try to negotiate at the T-mobile store. Seeing as it's probably at least 6 months out of warranty, I'm pretty sure I'm fucked.

haha my dad just called; it was totally just towed.  Which makes no sense, since it's a parking spot he pays for, and his landlord told him it hadn't been towed.  I'm sure FK is angry as hell.

Meanwhile, I'm sitting at work. I don't want to sit at work. Nobody gave me any lighting cues so I got distracted and didn't cut the lights when I should have which precipitated approximately the back three rows crowding up to the booth to cut the lights for me, like I can't do my job myself.

Also, despite the fact that I've worked with him occasionally for the past almost two years, the head curator still has absolutely no fucking idea who I am.

fucking god damn fucks I'm so fucking pissed off.  $120. plus a $25 dollar ticket.  I just do not understand how you can get ticketed and towed for parking in your own fucking parking spot that you already pay like 200 a month for.

Parking on my block is by permit only, and even though my supernova-bright yellow mirror tag is always hanging prominently, I got two tickets last month after the city parking agency outsourced our neighborhood's parking enforcement to some lame third party parking conglomerate.  Long story short, though, I filled out an appeals form basically explaining how the agent who ticketed me was a moron and three days later I got an apology (from a template, but still nice) and a voided copy of my ticket.  You should be able to appeal that shit.
