I was 19, I think? And damn I miss that dress!

I now have it, but it looks funny on me.
That was cool, that place, it was Puzzle World in Wanaka, and that room was all weirdly gravity so when you went in it felt like you were on board a very swaying boat, and it looked like water rolled uphill.

ACTUALLY, she was 19.75, cos we went in January and she be born at the end of March. It was a short time of us both being teenagers.

Look, it's me on the left!

Shocked It's kind of easy to translate, isn't it? I mean, even without knowing any Spanish at all?

well yes, but what does the PI mean?  i get the context, i just don't understand why they would put George Orwell on what looks like an official sign.

Place, plaza, something like that, the name of the street, i thought. But, sorry, I'm kind of killing the initial humour with this.

I'm guessing it's an abbreviation for 'plaza' and that it's named after Orwell. He fought in the Spanish Civil War.

whoops, xpost

ah, okay.  i got the initial humor, i just thought it was an underhanded homage to orwell, not an unintentional ironic one.   Smile silly spaniards

Not destroy shoes, whatever they are, but they were pretty great. they did die finally, after sserveral years of hard wearing.
And Anne, I think you'd look totally Mia Farrow in that dress.

Also, that Orwell sign is blowing my mind.

I have a picture of my pops from after my parents' wedding where he looks pretty much just like me, and it freaks me the fuck out. His beard is better though.
