Those pictures are intimidating to post after.  But I'll try anyway.

I have just realized that my generic houseplant that I've had for nearly 10 years wants more light.

Thanks!  If you look closely you can see the moon.

Your pictures invoke extreme jealousy in me.  Oh how I want to be in the woods right now.

It's got a certain something, though. The lens is just flawed enough to have a little toy camera thing going on that's pretty appealing. You don't normally see that aesthetic with digital cameras.

Exactly.  Otherwise it'd be in a box somewhere in my closet and I simply wouldn't take pictures.
It's really hard to get good shots though.  The flash just fucks any picture all to hell, so the lighting in the area has to be just right to get something that turns out.  But when they turn out I'm generally happy with them.  Here are a bunch more from the same camera from a while back:

Backyard, Ice Storm January 2007

Mom, Grandfolks' living room, Thanksgiving day '06

Something from the Lorax, Kearney Canal, Kearney NE Autumn '06

My old bike, not sure where it's at anymore

Birds on wire, soybean field, central Nebraska June '06

Building in fog, not sure when

HAHA and I have to post this one that I just found from Halloween '06

I'd actually like most of these photos as album or book covers. I like how they're focused but a little fuzzy at the same time.

edit: also, mountmccabe's plant is really funny.
