Happiness Is a Warm Post: The Happy Thread

When I was walking past the kindergarten I always pass on my way home from school some little girl screamed at me across the small fence "what's your name?!" I answered her kindly and we talked a bit and then she gave me a "crystal" (a slightly white stone) she had found. The kindness of strangers always make me happy.

Seriously, brownies plus cookie dough is such a fucking good idea. I'm shocked that I've never done that myself.

here's what I'm thinking: Spread the dough on top of the brownies, and then set them upside down in a well buttered hot pan.

And bake it for like 2 minutes like an upside down cake, so that its set a little but still chewy goodness of raw cookie dough?
I can feel the exact feeling of drunken sixteen year old nights with vodka and icecream and 12 bulimics all fighting each other to the ground over the icecream tubs thinking of that food! ah, good times.

Not as shocked as the rest of us, although I doubt there will be many full moons before you've taken it to the next level. Maybe some sort of brownie cookie dough deep fried ice cream aka the myocardial infarction suprise.

I'd be careful about asking that question. I asked a similar one (although not referring to drunken sixteen year old nights with vodka and icecream and 12 bulimics), the other day and within 24hours someone had posted those pictures on the internet. Thankfully not in the slightest bit incriminating, something of a rare event in my life in photos.

Greeeg, darn it, I'm really hungry, have no money, have to stay in the computer lab until my next lecture or else I'll lose the computer and have to wait 20 mins for another one, and the girl at the computer next to me keeps eating chips and sandwiches and crackers all of which smell delicious and then you talk about this? oh man. I'm almost drooling.
Making me happy, an email from a friend overseas who is not having a great time sadly but was saying how much he values our friendship. I liked this guy but always thought that he thought of me as more of a casual acquaintance more than anything.

Wow!
So F. and I booked a wedding cake baker today after trying a variety of samples. It's here:
http://www.eatcakemilwaukee.com
, at Eat Cake! It's one of those awesome Ace of Cakes type places that will make crazy cakes if you'd so like (I was especially drawn to the Yoda cake, myself). Of course, we're going with the more traditional 4-tiered, buttercream with fondant accents cake.
Anyway, the cake is really great--all the samples so good, there were few options to eliminate. They are even willing to make a tiramisu-style cake if we want. We're more likely to do a Chocolate cake with custard and raspberry buttercream filling.
However, after seeing the Greg's schematic for deep-fried brownie cookie dough ice cream bars, perhaps we'll have to do some negotiating with our baker.

I got my first paycheck ever yesterday! (well, since I was a postman, anyway, and of course now I get to earn significantly more) I just sent an email to PSF asking them to please send me six records. Yes.

that cupcake looks like a poop!
When I'm thinking about the ice cream inside of that brownie, I'm wondering if there couldn't be a way to get it on the outside. So it would be sorta like mexican fried ice cream. I'll draw a picture hold on.
