The case for an index becomes more pressing by the day!  Great minds, DB.

And right back at you, Jacob (ref. p.3 and p.7 above):

I'm confused - My copy of White Light/White Heat has a mottley white and grey cover, which I thought was a superfamous, absolutely classic album cover. Actually, I've never seen that black one before. But when I google for it, i can't find it anywhere at all. Did I dream this? I'm not with my records right now to check.

That's the back cover. You mean this picture, right?

Sorry for the small size, that's the only copy of the image I could find. But yeah, that's the back cover.

Hmmm, no.

Well, I just lookoed at the wikipedia page for the album and this is the one I have:

There also exists a unique MGM UK cover made from the late 70's to the early 80's featuring a white background and abstract toy soldiers.

Damned if I can find an image online though - weird.

edit :

That's mine.

That is easily my favourite Bunnymen album though, such a great mood and coherence to it.

I don't have either, (though my mum has the latter) so I've never been able to show anyone this even though it bugs me every time I see either in the shop.

is it pretty much a requirement of any UK/Irish band to go moping in the snow at some point?  i think there's a pretty similar picture of blur like that on their s/t but maybe i'm confusing it with the U2 one.

Madonna, Prince, and Kevin Rowland - the ultimate trinity of sexy album covers there.
