seriously, how would you resist calling the person you're speaking with kal-el, or doing obi wan or something? if not both. maybe finishing with "beam us up" or pretending to go down in a hail of off-screen bullets/reavers. i guess this is but one of the reasons that only boring people will ever be allowed to read the news.

Yeah, in that situation, I can't imagine I'd be doing much else besides screaming "HOLY SHIT I AM TALKING TO A FUCKING HOLOGRAM THAT IS AWESOME" over and over again.

And that was pretty much what Wolf did, in his understated way. All I could think was "What a wank. Haven't they got better ways to fill in the time before the real results come in?" (but simultaneosly thinking "cool")
