Couldn't find a recent one and I'm currently watching the sun come up. Too many cigarrettes and watching the ARTS channel can cause you to think your cat really does have it all figured out.

Oh Jesus. The ARTS network. If you can watch it for more than a half an hour, you have a problem.

I love the ARTS channel. It's probably the only tv channel I can watch for an extended period of time.

I can't sleep because my best friend has been telling me hilarious things for the past two hours, which kept my girlfriend awake in the other room, until she came out and laid down the law, when I hung up on my best friend, but now I'm scared to go in there to the sleep-room because there might be resentment floating around and righteous disappointment as well.

I had one of my worst night terrors yet last night. I totally took cover from the guy in my room who was about to shoot me with a crossbow and hid from him for like a minute before I realized he wasn't actually there.

I got very little sleep last night. My friend snored and took up 3/4 of the bed. I have work in two hours or so Confused

SERIOUSLY. They're the only channel that will air Nosferatu in its entirety then follow it up with an aria from Rossini's Otello then follow THAT up ballet footage from Rite of Spring. And the beauty of it is how it just flows from opera to silent film to classical to dance and beyond seemingly without logic or order almost as if the content were randomly generated or something. It's all-wild card, all the time.

I especially like watching it in the wee hours of the night. That's when you catch the bizarre shit: claymation operas, orchestral pieces acted out through lights.

wierdo.

The girl I like doesn't sleep much, which causes me to stay up late as hell.

You people are monsters. Although damned if I don't disagree that a dollop o' Daisy does a taco decent.

Smetana _was_ a composer, and he had a really funny name.

Last night I was at a truly off-the-chain Christmas party at a bar until 2 AM. I couldn't get to sleep til 3:30. Then, for some perverse reason, I woke up at 7. Got back to sleep at 9, and my alarm woke me up 20 mins later. I feel like a zombie right now. Can't wait until I can no longer put off taking my blood pressure meds and they knock me out like Vicodin.

I'm concerned that every time I hear the Moldau on the local classical station, I'm now going to have a Pavlovian desire for Mexican food. And they play it like four times a week. God knows I don't need to eat any more Mexican than I already do.
