That film is on the ever-growing list of films I kind of want to see when I get a spare minute in between playing street fighter and, ahem, watching other people play street fighter. I'll bump it up the list a few spots :-)

Just saw this linked somewhere else - free compilation of "rare/unreleased" tracks:

http://www.adultswim.com/promos/201109_unclassified/index.html

Has that Burial track we were talking about on it (which most definitely has been released as there is a copy in my house), and one from Zomby which is nice, and plenty of other delights.

Also this week I got the new Zomby, Sepalcure and Rustie (okay, that one's probably a big stretch for this thread) records, so I'll try and remember to come back and post thoughts. The Rustie album is ridiculous - not sure yet just how good it is, but it's definitely ridiculous, and I'm liking it so far.

New Zomby is good. Starts with a slightly offputting opening track (took me a few listens to get over the vocal on it) but then just drops into Zomby-land for another six that sound great.

I agree. I don't really like that first one much at all. Is that what his '92' stuff sounded like, do you know?

The rest of it is great though.

It's great. I've spent a lot of time with it and only now are all the various crazy ideas starting to seem like part of a whole. There's a lot going on in there.

I take it back about that mix I posted, by the way. A lot of it is weak. It still has 2 minutes of Zomby and that awesome Burial track, though, and a couple of other gooduns.

Could we maybe start posting some kind of description/comment alongside our random youtube links?

No idea, sorry! Dedication was my first album of his. I grabbed a couple of other earlier things after that but didn't like them quite as much, so haven't properly delved into his back catalogue.

While I'm here, I have also listened to Sepalcure a few times today and I quite like it. You'd probably enjoy it too - I know you like a nice glossy electronica album every now and again - this one has added Burial-ish half-caught vocal samples twitching around in places. It's good.

Ah, thanks. I think have dimly registered mention of them before but subconsciously been put off by that name perhaps - sounds a bit like a nu-metal band! I will definitely check them out now though, as 'glossy electronica' has been quite a big thing for me this year - that Junior Boys album is top 5 material.

I just can't access youtube on one of my machines - I have to wait all day to find out that what someone posted was a cereal advert!

My favourite on there is "Pure Bristle", the fourth track. So good.

Anyway, on the 25th Skream put out a free compilation of tracks from 2004/5/6 - apparently you can download it here:

My first assumption upon seeing that is that it's all a bunch of /b/tards.  But ...
