I also thought today was Thursday, hh. I mean, It sure feels like the week's been long enough for it to be Thursday. Then I remembered I had to go into work on Sunday for a meeting. I knew that would screw up my week! I would very much like for tomorrow to be Friday.

After I posted I washed the dishes, folded the laundry, filled out the boring part of an application, and replied to three emails! Thanks, LPTJ! Now make it Thursday so girl and I can smile.

Yeah, I was thinking similar thoughts Anne.

And, actually it _is_ Thursday. Has been for 20:45 hrs. It was OK, better than Wednesday at any rate, but I still have a headache from it.

I think it's ok to talk about having missed something on TV, just not ok to hound people for answers or conversation they'd rather have elsewhere.

New annoyance: up at 4am with sore throat. Worst timing for a cold ever! Also, I am already pretty much taking the best possible care of myself, so not sure what else I can do:

Rest: check
Vitamins: check
Heathy, fresh foods: check
Plenty of water: check
Little or no caffeine, alcohol, cigarettes, etc.: check

For sure, (I meant the "whoa, that happened?" bit , and was vaguely going to look for it online :-)

Sucky. I got a cold just before E was born - it did a weird thing though. I felt it coming on, and had it for a day, then went into labour and it went away. It came back again on about day 3 to finish off, which was annoying as it turned into a chesty cough that woke everyone up every few hours.

So our office is moving to the South Bronx in November. Our intern has already quit, and I just had one of our senior guys, who grew up in Red Hook in the 80s, tell me that the new location seriously sketches him out. It's like a 30 minute walk from the nearest train. Three of the ladies who work in the office are shit-terrified. And my CEO and operations manager are basically just refusing to acknowledge the situation, continually talking about how excited they are to be moving. Meanwhile, I'm sending out resumes.

Best be using one of your grease-fuel cars to shuttle the staff.

The performance and an interview are on Colbert's website.

Maybe those cupcake-mobiles from the other thread are in order.

I would love to be a fly on the wall for someone driving one of those down a street in the South Bronx.
