I appreciated the miniature Zoe Deschanel girl.

Named, incredibly, Zoe.

Let's imagine it's no coincidence, and Ronald D. Moore is just expanding his demographic horizons.  Soon Caprica episodes are going to have Vampire Weekend playing over the closing credits.

Also AK what the hell are you doing reading that blog
By the way, how long has this Snooki/that show whose name I forget thing been a phenomenon?  A few months?  A year or more?  I first heard about it all here (like most cultural phenomena) but it seems to have come out of nowhere in the last two weeks.  Where for something like Lady Gaga, sure I was basically totally unaware of her until a month or two ago, but there was a good year or more of slow-boil introduction where she'd be mentioned briefly on here, or there would be conversations between me and another guy that went like

Other guy: Man, It's terrible, but Lady Gaga's music is really addictive
Me: Oh, uh yeah, man, sure.  I mean, yeah it's a thing.  Actually I have no idea what you're talking about.

Like I said in the Gaga thread, by the time I know about it, it's been a thing for a long time. I get most of my youth culture/pop knowledge from the lady.

1974, time travel, a wheel that moves the island, this show went fucking fucktarded at some point, didn't it?

Hearing it summarized makes it even more ludicrous, yes.

oops I spoke too soon, it got dumber in the last segment.

I think my plan is to watch seasons 3-5 at a leisurely pace over the course of this season, while concurrently watching the new episodes, so that with each week it's increasingly a little less incomprehensible. Goal will be to be caught up completely by the finale, and I think such a fragmented method of watching the show actually suits the unholy clusterfuck that is Lost.

Believe it or not, the first episode of Jersey Shore aired Dec. 3. That shit blew up at lightspeed. It already seems like it's been around forever, and it's been TWO FUCKIN MONTHS.

Isn't this show ABC's biggest moneymaker? Why does the CG always look so bad?

It would definitely reestablish the stakes of this show if they killed off a couple original characters

I'm probably the only one who notices this kind of shit, but I've always been impressed at how the Lost score is so terribly cheesy and so terribly effective at the same time. Always a bunch of ominous tremolo celli and trombone glisses and what not

Wow, there was a Happy Moment on today's installment of Breaking Bad (season two). What's up with that?

I've never understood why they don't fix the CG glitch in the title screen. Bugs the shit out of me.

I think the guy who plays Locke is maybe the best actor on a show awash in pretty bad acting.
