I'm pretty pissy today... It's not really a thing, but I dislike it just as much as they do and I don't see how it helps to point and make leper comments. It's not that I'm sensitive about my appearance, I just don't wanna talk about my fucked up arms. She keeps asking me what I'm going to about it, and she's worried that it'll bother the customers even with the food prep gloves on. But we both know she's neither going to ask me to stop doing dishes or send me out front. Why say anything, then?
Man if I had to teleconference at 4 in the AM I would remember nothing and contribute less.
edit: oh i forgot, the girl up front didn't tip me out again, on the busiest night of the month. I was gonna buy a burrito, dammit.

I mean, if the applicant has a pedigree, shouldn't they be getting their
own
personal assistant?

I was worried about the pedigree myself, kind of freaked out that they might deny me if they find peasants in my family tree.

If they hire the likes of me, the terriers have already won.

I would like a reprint of the hateful email. An angry pollo is one of life's great pleasures these days. Actually as an homage, let me rephrase that: an angry pollo is one of life's great pleasures anymore.

"Educated and pedigreed"? You really need someone with a pedigree to polish your fucking collection of monocles? Or ferry your undoubtedly insufferable yuppie larva around the UES? I hope this administration taxes you into the ground during its second term.

I just laughed for a while, then walked away from the computer, then came back and laughed some more. Dude, you should really start a blog or email gothamist or something.
(the blog idea would be you writing hateful emails to rich people)

Let it be known that I detest the title of this thread. Your job is your life and livelihood so choose wisely, silly.

Let it be known that I never said what I did to provoke a reaction, I'd prefer if you said your own piece and left mine alone, but because I felt it needed to be mentioned. Smarten up!

I'm taking the bait here, but only once: my job is most definitely not my life. It is how I make money (obvsss), but it's the least me-ish thing about my life.
