i may not have travelled much and i may not have been to all the universities in the world, and i may not know much about academia, but i do know that manchester is the best university in the world, and the best city. congratulations definitely in order.

you'll just have to work your arse off for the next couple of months. it might seem difficult as summer approaches and videogames beckon, but it will be more than worth it. best of luck with the studying  Cool

Okay, to make things even slightly more awesome, I just got confirmation through of my offer from Nottingham. The conditions are way easier, they only want me to get 45 credits, with 50 percent at Merit level, with 6 credits at distinction in English, which I have all already pretty much done!

So I will be able to make Manchester my firm choice, and Nottingham my insurance, which is pretty much fucking perfect.

Going to try to bust out an entire twenty page essay today on free trade and international financial instutions.

Then a ten page test.

Then a 40 page paper I've barely started.
