I like this in isolation at the top of the page, like it's a self-aggrandizing apostrophe towards the deity.

We move in eight days. Only the books are packed. My cousin's current tenant won't be entirely moved out by next Monday, and I fear we won't be able to stash all our stuff in our future apartment. I am a bit of a wreck about moving, as I always am. Oy, oy, oy.

Dickheads. Don't they know who you are?
Seriously, everyone who appears in a movie should get in the credits, especially on a website. That is crap.

It seems like IMDB has been doing that a lot lately. What's the point of having it if you can't figure out obscure cameos and support staff?

Yeah, that was my point. People rarely sit through the credits on a movie, unless they're trying to figure that stuff out, and the fucking fonts are unreadable by that time anyway. IMDB is the obvious place to put that. I wonder if that means my greatX3 uncle's old bushranger film has been treated the same way...

Here's the thing: of the five Rolling Stones, only two were given screen credit. Neither of those two is me. That's fine and all, but I sort of assumed that, if my credit was submitted and approved, that it would stay. Apparently this is not the case (as is stated in their FAQ). On the one hand, it doesn't actually piss me off or anything, but on the other hand, this was the only way to prove to people I was in said movie short of making them watch it (or watch the extended trailer, I guess).

Out of curiosity, on what grounds did they remove your credit?

As far as I can tell (because they never specifically actually said), it was for lack of a screen credit, and a lack of other screen credits. The FAQ states that they're not in it to have pages for a bunch of uncredited fools.
EDIT: and again, while this doesn't exactly enrage me or anything, I have to agree with clare and dp that, if you're going to have a website that purports to be the authority on something, you should really have every piece of information you can get your hands on. Otherwise why not go to the 20349026834598 websites where someone has bothered to transcribe the credits (and where you don't have to put up with browser-destroying Flash ads)?

I'm pretty mystified by their vetting process, myself. My imdb credits were cut in half (as in, um, from 2 to 1) a couple years ago. I just shrugged it off, as I wasn't responsible for putting either credit up in the first place and was surprised I even had an imdb page.

Here is something asinine: if I download something straight to my iPod Touch, I cannot sync it to my computer. That is, "sync" doesn't actually mean "sync" at all. Go to hell, Apple.
(that is, "sync" actually means "delete the things from your iPod entirely, leaving no trace")

...but then I had a long walk and took a shower and drank a beer and realized that in reality, even though the two people that aren't showing are supposedly my friends, they've also become the most unreliable part of the equation. And by crashing on person #4's couch, I might actually have a halfway decent time over the weekend because I'm a big boy and I can take care of myself exceptionally well. Sometimes when you work with people who don't have their shit together, you forget that you actually have your shit together.

Bleh. Anxiety-ridden half-sleep all night and now I have to gather my shit and get ready to go. Even though I have plenty of time to get things done, not getting packed the night before is always a tactical error. Curse my procrastinating nature.

I bought a pair of flats and a pair of wedges from an internet shop.
The wedges are great! The flats were giant. Returned the flats to exchange for the next size down.
Got what was supposed to be the exchanged flats in the mail today, and it's.. another pair of the wedges I kept.
Sigh. Stupid problems.

Just got to the Red Roof Inn next to the place where my bar exam is tomorrow morning. If I'd have known they didn't have a mini fridge in the room for my beer I'd have opted for lodgings that cost more than $50/night. Warm beer it is. I guarantee I'm not the only one in this sketch-ass hotel drinking warm beer tonight, at least.
