Who is a photo nerd here because I can't remember that guy's name who does those shiny gross portraits and I can't google 'german guy who does shiny portraits such as on the jacket of andre agassi's 'open'' and it's driving me crazy!

Chuck Close isn't German, no.

I have to admit I found Chuck Close more endearing after finding out he has face blindness.  That's something I can relate to.

You're thinking of the guy who makes people look like corpses on a slab, Martin Schoeller? I did a google search but it looked like they were crediting Andre Brito? I don't know who that is. Didn't look at the links though, just the summaries.
