My favorite has been "He Won't Go." I like the Steely Danism of it.

Man, I did not realize that Rush would be a damn good stoner metal band.

See, now, if Marry Me had sounded anything like this, I would still be listening to St. Vincent. But that album was pretty bland, and I had no interest in following up on her. So when someone - the Edit0r, I think - claimed she was a good guitar player, I was all, Annie Clark can play guitar? Really? Because I didn't recall any shredding on that album. Does she rock out more on Actor, or should I just go see her live but ignore the albums?

I saw her live before Marry Me came out and her guitar playing was what hooked me.  She played solo and I haven't seen her with a band, so I don't know if that's changed anything about her show, but yeah, she could rip it up on that thing.

Also: seeing a mosh pit forming at a St. Vincent show is quite amusing

I think I preferred seeing St Vincent solo to seeing her with a backing band. Well, other than at that covers gig doing Big Black songs. That was one of the best things I've ever seen.

I'm not sure who to share this with but it's amazing. Nick Cave in studio, recording the vocal track to "swampland"

He's actually carrying it off pretty well.  That asshole in the back aimlessly ploinking on the piano is a serious problem though.

I'm kinda surprised that Linkin Park fans seem to be diggin' it.  Was that the audience singing along that I heard?  Huh.

What American English sounds like to non-American speakers. I don't know when this was recorded. It looks like maybe the 70's. It's amazing and hilarious though. The dancing is wonderful as well. I would love to watch this guy's show.

I was gonna say, is this that classroom-dance video? I've totally seen this before. And yes, it's awesome.

Frankly, that sounds like American English to an American English speaker, too.
