I prefer to think that it was two park rangers who found it, Mark Moffat and American Mark. American Mark sounds like just the sort of guy who wanders about looking for bugs in trees. I think he wears a safari suit and pith helmet.

Interesting that pith helmet and safari khakis reads as "American" from your perspective. To me, that's British all the way. Still, far preferable to most images of Americans y'all might conjure.

American Mark doesnt have to be American, it is just his name. His adventures are published as Biggles-esque paperbacks, ith pictures of him battling giant bugs on the front.
