Interesting that pith helmet and safari khakis reads as "American" from your perspective. To me, that's British all the way. Still, far preferable to most images of Americans y'all might conjure.

American, it is just his name. His adventures are published as Biggles-esque paperbacks, ith pictures of him battling giant bugs on the front.
