The closest I've seen to a poetry like this (other than misheard song lyrics) is this story by Miranda Mellis, which she calls "a homophonic translation of the first 9 pages of IL REVISIONISTA (Nutrimente: Rome, 2009) by Leonardo Luccone, a translation of THE REVISIONIST (Calamari Press: New York, 2007) by Miranda Mellis."

It sounds like someone made an unauthorized (and probably awful) Italian translation of Mellis's book THE REVISIONIST, and published it under his name. So Mellis translated the Italian back to English, concentrating only on the sound of the words. I thought the results were pretty freaking weird.
