Oh Erin I am so sorry about this. Weight loss is more common with cocaine use than heroin use (heroin does not of itself suppress the appetite: junkies just start spending money on dope instead of food), if that's any comfort.

i just met this fucking amazing girl last weekend (actually had known her longer over the internet, but we hung out for the first time last weekend) and i'm totally head over heels. well, she's moving from dc (two hours away--manageable) to LONDON in a month. she'll be back from london next june, but that's a long time... so yeah, i meet this awesome girl, and already it's doomed. grumble grumble.

that said, i am currently uploading cds to my computer so i can go sell them for gas money to drive to dc and hang out with her tonight. i'm currently trying to do the "i'll worry about her leaving when the time comes" thing, and just hang out as much as possible. but like, as you can see by the first paragraph, that's not working 100% effectively.

oh, and while i'm in the "bitching" thread, i forgot how expensive gas is during those 3 years when i didn't have a car! holy crap, those costs really add up!

My asshat crazy dope-fiend brother has just moved back to our hometown and is now leaving rambling, threatening letters around my parents' yard, in which he accuses them of a long list of foul and false things.

My mom's falling for it.  She says she isn't, but it's breaking her heart.  In the past ten years, she's coped with knee replacement and fibromyalgia and a stroke and burying her own mother plus a number of dear cousins and friends.  She deserves a goddamn break so she can putter on the internet and in her garden, but instead, she's trying to obtain a restraining order against her own kid.

Right now I've got my fingers crossed that my bro gets sent up for some kind of felony (he's eligible for a few) before his behavior escalates.  Why else would you sneak around to drop off letters if you didn't want to project some kind of menace?
