macrock 2000 and uh, 3? (2003, probably)

so was anyone else at macrock 2003?

listening to the recordings of that right now - or anyway, we listened to palmcorder yajna from that show - and reminiscing about the first time we, y'know, heard anything from the new album.

and just wondering in general if anyone else here (besides obvious parties) was there, or has heard the sekrit mp3zzzz on the internerd of it.

or hey, even if people went to macrock 2004, which i missed because i go to a school where you have finals [u[four times a year[/u], and had to be here doing that and whatnot.

yeah i was there. the mountain goats were money as always. the wrens were great as well, i bought 2 of their albums after the show because it was so fun. need new body of course brought the greatness. many asses were shook wildy. oh and seeing ian mackaye speak was entertaining as well. im sure that dude is so tired of talking about stright edge at this point. my favorite was probably the metal/hardcore shows though. converge completely annihilated everything. im not the biggest fan of their albums but live they really blew up the place. also the Alabama Thunderpussy/Burnt By The Sun/Dillinger Escape Plan show was great. im sad Mastodon cancelled, i seem to recall they were originally supposed to play but then went on tour in europe or something instead.
