what's making you happy right now?

[C of heartbreak]

About a month and a half ago, when I was moving to my new place, I brought my two big peanut-butter jars full of loose change with me.  My roommate, who was trying to get me to pare down my possessions a little, suggested that I leave the change behind.

"It's just pennies and nickels and dimes, right?" he said.  "If there aren't even any quarters in there, it's probably only gonna be like fifteen bucks, max."

I contended that it was probably closer to fifty bucks, and even if it was only fifteen, that's fifteen bucks that's worth having, right there.  So I lugged the coins with me to my new apartment.

I cashed in the coins at the bank this weekend.

Two hundred dollars.

OH BICKETY-BAM.

I'm don't understand why you didn't cash them in when you were moving, and it would have solved the argument right there.

hey people I don't read this thread much if ever, for all I know it's the greatest thing since sliced bread, but: could y'all who frequent it make a point of STARTING A NEW THREAD when it reaches, say, fifteen pages? I know everybody wants to make the longest thread in the world or something, but I hear it's rough on a database to have threads like this
