the best part about "[in] theory" is the final shot, showing how completely unaffected data is. it's great.
YES. The only Voyager episode that ever stuck with me did a similar thing with Tuvok, where he's flashing back to his youth, learning to suppress his emotions. And the end is basically, "Here's your resolution: disquieting emotional void! Enjoy!"

I knew Ro had since been on 24 and BSG, but it only now dawned on me that she was the medical examiner on
Homicide
. Michelle Forbes = awesome.
WHOA. I knew she looked way familiar... I just never put 2 and 2 together.

haha oh man, Picard deputizing little kids = awesome.
Also, this is a bit belated, but the Redemption 2 parter just solidified my stance that there was no excuse for them ever to have a Worf-centric ep where they don't go to the Klingon homeworld. To hell with Alexander! To hell, I say!
Also, I think "Silicon Avatar" might be the first truly lame Data ep. Unless I'm forgetting one from S1. S1 is kinda a blur. I suppose that's what happens when you re-watch the entirety of TNG late at night, usually while drunk or drunkish.

Although, "Silicon Avatar" does contain the finest bit Riker-smarminess outside of the "Banging Chicks with No Sex Organs" ep.

Oh, man. There is some truly great stuff with Alexander in DS9.

true but in tNG he is a damn puss and a shitty klingon son. Worf should have eaten him.

Without giving away too much, it's basically the same deal in DS9, only they make it more explicit. Essentially, picture a whole ship of Klingons going, "You are a damn puss and a shitty Klingon son." It's so excellent.
