he is absolutely beautiful, and terribly lucky to have such wonderful parents. He'll certainly be in my thoughts and if there are any little comforts you would like at your hotel, please please please feel free to let me know.

just got back from a hospital visit where we learned the results of his first ultrasound...given to determine if he'd had any bleeding in the brain. this is one of the biggest dangers preemies face, and is not all that uncommon. and since finn had been subjected to an early ambulance ride, his danger was greater. but the results came back normal, so right now, we're overjoyed. that was a big hurdle to get over.

oh, and i was going to post an address at the myspace page, but then i decided i better not put it there, so for those of you who wanted it:

finley gibbs
xxxx
xxx xxxxx xx

and thanks so much for caring. this little guy is coasting on the vibes.

awesome... I am thinking of him lots and did all my weight-lifting today in his honour, cos I figure the little dude needs the extra muscles more'n I do.

No bleeding is excellent news.

yes, this was one of our genius ideas in name-creating. we decided all of our children would have first-letter-alliterative names.

Hey, belated congrats (ironic in the circumstances) from GCR and myself who've been too busy to spend time here as much as we'd like recently...
Really chuffed to hear it's all going well.

Hey, guy, I'm not really one of the crowd here but like congratulations a hundred million times, that is so wonderful.

And if it means anything I was born real early myself and I think I turned out ok, well apart from one of my feet being a whole size bigger than the other, but that really doesn't cause me any problems.  Razz

Good luck with the fatherhood thing, it'll be a ball I'm sure!

Yay!  I was so spazzed out that they were going to get delivered to the wrong place or something, but "c/o NICU" seems to've worked like a charm, as the receptionist promised.

There is one more thing coming, in the regular ol' mail.

Then, the great "LPTJ :heart:s Finley" gift drive will draw softly to a close.

Very Happy
