A round-trip plane ticket from Chicago to Antanatarivo, Madagascar.
Pretty much the only tangible thing I've desperately wanted since I was 5 years old.
Because I am convinced there are colours there that don't exist anywhere else. And also lemurs, and those cute little lizards that have forked hands and feet (
lookit
!!!! AHHHHH!!!!!!). And also:
What the fuck, seriously.

Dude, those are some awesome, completely implausible trees.
Seriously, what the hell are those trees thinkin', looking all weird and uncomon like that?
Damn, trees. Damn.

Those are insane trees! Madagascar is so awesome. Did you know the Nazis considered sending us there, before realizing that gassing us was a lot easier? Israel-in-Madagascar would be pretty cool.
My girlfriend wants a miniature husky.

only 350 for that guitar?
It's a cheapo 1960's Italian import! Hardly a vintage Gibson or whatever, it just happens to be hotter than anything else evar.

too bad we can't move israel to madagascar right now. that sure would solve a lot of issues in the middle east.

It's immoral to miniaturize working dogs. What's that thing gonna do, pull tricycles? Thank God spaniels exist, or dumbasses would try to miniaturize retrievers, and I'd have to start killing people.
In a more constructive response, has she ever seen a shiba inu? At least they got bred down into companion animals 1,000s of years ago, so they don't have delusions of utility.

It's not that I can't afford it, it's that I cannot justify spending $36 plus shipping on a
messenger bag
. Perhaps I am being naive?

This was on BoingBoing the other day:
The ANTI-GRIDDLE.
I've wanted one of these since I was a little kid, but apparently, they hadn't been invented yet.
Now they have, and it would TOTALLY FUCKING EXCELLENT for making chocolate truffles. Unfortunately, it's almost nine hundred bucks. Man, if I'm gonna drop that amount of cash on something, it better be for a
pocket-sized Laser Of Death.

Reese, I haven't bought a bag that wasn't on some sort of half-off discount rack since like tax refund season 2001, so that's why I was wondering if I was naive or not. INFLATION WOO
