so what do you do for a living? i know YOU all have indie blogs, but i mean, what is your job, etc? yes I know, indie blog, but like, seriously. what the shit! like me, you see, i work for this insurance corporation doing improving "processes?" which means basically i spend a lot of time looking around the internet and annoying you. eventually i want to find a job where i can send anonymous people little cat teeth in the mail with a note that reads CROATAN. i hope someday i can find a job doing that. until then, it is process improvement. so, what's your job?

Experiential educator, scrounger, sex worker, waitress, shipping clerk, etc.
I have trouble keeping a straight job longer than two weeks if it isn't an education job, which unfortunately aren't in high demand this time of year. Hiring already happened.

right now i'm running around like mad being a video store clerk at an independent video store that unfortunately only staffs one person--me--on weekday nights, even the night before a major holiday.
in a few weeks, i'm moving back to georgia to work with my dad and his partner in real estate appraisal of all things.

Currently a production assistant on an off-broadway play. Hoping to earn my equity card and begin stage managing in nyc sometime in the next couple of years.

I am currently paying people to give me work to do. A group of people at my school are bringing the Human Rights Watch International Film Festival here in februrary and I'm in charge of getting all these outside organizations to participate. I also organize educational events for student government.
this summer I want to work for the earth charter in tampa but will probably have to go back to orlando for summer school at this community college and a crappy paying job to save money.
in the future (if there is one)... I want to be either an environmental lobbyist, a lawyer for an environmental firm or work in wildlife rehabilitation.

Hey, I work in a "limited-service value-centric business lodging" myself. As I type this, Laurence Welk is being piped in from above, and the lobby smells of oranges, if oranges could polish furniture.
