well, seeing as how in the last 2 years, athens has spawned both Contraband & Megaband--bands that play live soundtrack music to Contra & Mega Man as members of the band play (and beat) the games on a big screen--that might be exactly what they do.

Clearly from now until the end of time, Athfest will take place on my wedding anniversary.

I'll be working, I'm afraid.  Which sucks, cos I haven't been to AthFest in YEARS.

Davy - you going to that Zoroaster show?  I know that they're playing and so is/are American Cheesburger, the Dumps and Music Hates You, but I don't know if this is all one show of if my brain is combining two shows into one ball of awesome.

i'd love to catch the saturday shows, but erin & finn & i are leaving for vacation, and we'll miss saturday and sunday. which bums me out cuz i was looking forward to seeing the drive-by truckers for free.

sadly, the only shows i'm catching are:

tonight at caledonia (cars can be blue, velcro stars, m coast, casper & the cookies)

and

my own show, friday night at hot corner (gemini cricket--that's us--and the visitations and some other dudes)

and

probably caledonia friday night after we're done. i gotta see ninjaband. but then again, flicker and little kings--and melting point, even--have strong shows that night, too.

who's zoroaster?
