Remember in the movie The Blues Brothers, when Elwood walks into his hotel and the guy says "You get me my cheez whiz boy?" and Elwood tosses him a can of EZ-Cheez, and it's like damn dude don't you know your fake cheese food products apart?

Jello is not particularly midwestern.  Also Velveeta was first made in Monroe, New York.

Try saying that after growing up on mac'n'cheese that your mom makes from scratch (seriously, she started with a roux), but somehow uses Velveeta, instead of real cheese, especially when you're maybe 20 minutes from the kind of places where the cow gets milked and the cheese gets sold without ever leaving the premises.  Try eating fresh cheese curds, then choking down the Velveeta mess your mother just spent like 20 or 30 minutes slaving over.

You're acting like I don't know what real cheese is!  I do, and it's great, but fake cheese is also fucking sweet.  Given the choice between mac&chee made with real cheese and mac&chee made with the false glowing orange powder stuff, I will almost always choose the latter.  Both are delicious, but arguing about which is better is like arguing about whether moths are prettier than butterflies.

When my get up and go has got up and went, I hanker for a hunk a' cheese.

Damn now I want some cheese.

Real cheese, though, as the processed stuff is not my favorite.  Guess they might throw me out of the midwest!

jeb said that the cheese we have in Illinois SUCKS so I guess the next time any Wisconsin people visit you need to bring me some good cheese Very Happy

Also, I saw that post you deleted Reese but I'm not gonna trip 'cause I don't give much of a crap about the Packers.

Whoa, my computer just totally misrepresented me.  What was supposed to come after this quote was:

I mean it's OK, but I never saw why it was worth paying 60 more cents to put on a burger.

That's because they don't use good cheese in those kinds of places.

Oh ho ho, no it is not.  You just think that because you haven't had good cheese.

I thought it was universally accepted that cheese is one of the prime reasons for living and that the lactose intolerant aren't really human

I think we can all agree that in order of importance cheese supersedes pictorial representation in all its forms

Wait, wait, back up a second. Theres a way to make macandcheese that doesn't involve first making a roux? Like you buy the sauce to amke the worlds simplest dish easier? thats like buying toast instead of bread, so you don't have to toast it.
