(I have removed the long prologue my journey from film school to working for a hospital).
That sounds really interesting, if you don't mind telling the story...?

Man, today could hardly be more awesome. The weather is gorgeous -- cool, bright, and unusually clear after a bit of rain. I woke up at 3:30am and decided to go out for breakfast, where I met somebody interesting and had a great, rambling conversation, and surprisingly excellent coffee. They waitress was super nice and had a great smile, and seemed pleased to hear it. My mom, aunt, and cousin were all at my grandparents' house so we had a great second breakfast as a family. My Netflix order came while I was out -- Chess Fever! Have been waiting a while for this hard-to-find disc. One more night of rain is expected, then clear skies for a week, so I can wash my car tomorrow.
This weekend is well on the way toward fantastic already.

Today was good times. I hung out with Hannah where we braved Michigan Ave, ate giant burritos, and saw
Margot at the Wedding
. Having weekends off is fun! Too bad it won't last.
