We are having a very large party at my friends' house next Saturday, and if anyone here could come, that would be awesome.  I probably should've given more warning, but I didn't really think about it until now that I'm out here cleaning.  Anyway, we're having a big cookout, and there are soft places for 15 people to sleep before even resorting to the acres of floor space, and if anyone has their heart set on sleeping outside, plenty of space to pitch tents or whatever outdoors (not that I think anyone will, I just wanted to throw it out there).  Anyway, we'll apparently have 40 lbs of chicken to grill and a professional bartender friend to help us get rid of the 30 or so random liquor bottles that people have left here over the years.  I don't really expect anyone to be able to make it with such short notice, but I wanted to put it out there.

Also, there will be dancing, as I have my heart set on it.  I'm planning on using the dining room/ballroom, unless we can get someone's stereo outside.

That's so sweet! But, alas, Mapquest sayeth: Total Est. Time: 6 hours, 29 minutes     Total Est. Distance: 390.44 miles.

I thought initially when I moved east that nothing was far away. But everything inexplicably still is.
