Though in fairness to Ron Paul, Mike Huckabee has some policies that are just as ridiculous and unlike Paul he actually *could* end up being our president.

hey lou dobbs is about to run a piece, what he just called the most comprehensive look at how our education system has FAILED.  maybe you should watch.

also, whether you can get an abortion or not means absolutely nothing if your country is completely broke.  I love how people focus on these trivial little bullshit issues like that and gay marriage and whatever else nonsense they throw at you to ignore what the real problems are.  RP would not impede your ability to get an abortion anyway because the Federal government has absolutely no authority to regulate such a matter and there would be plenty of states where it would be legal.  abstinence only education?  Yeah he's wrong about that, IMO.  but it's just his fucking opinion, and he's certainly not going to make it a Federal law, because he the president doesn't have that authority. 

why is it that the issues of the least important are actually apparently the most important issues for a large percentage of people?

you guys are all really clever you know that.
