I GOT A JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No more reaching Thursday or so and having five dollars to last me through to monday! My boyfriend is the best because he got it for me, his work was like, do you know someone who could do some digitizing and he was all why yes I do and he trained me and everything. I'm here now, it is my first day,whole building to myself and just have to load in a new tape every ten minutes or so. Should work out to about 10 hours a week or so, and fits in around uni. This ROCKS.

Long day. I picked up extra hours tonight, which is good, but it left me with an 11 hour shift. Five hours were after the store closed, cleaning things, no customers, so that was nice. I have tomorrow off, so why am I not drinking right now?

I have led a sheltered life these past years, and as a result forgot the extent to which I don't understand people. A few weeks ago an intern expressed a genuine wish to appear on "Who wants to be a millionnaire" - today another colleague expressed the exact same thing. It's like these people live in a totally different world, where participating in "Who wants to be a millionnaire" wouldn't be the most embarrassing thing to do EVER.

Yeah, that's true, though to me it sounds like one of Homer Simpson's "get rich quick" schemes. I can understand that aspect of it, but both people also seemed to be big fans of the show, which I can understand less.

Haha, when I saw that title on the TV magazine last year, I thought it was a joke. I think it's already been cancelled in France - not sure, though.

Whilst I would do millionaire if given the chance, I do hate the fact that it exists for some if not all the reasons I hate the fact that the national lottery exists. And I'm knda down with JY's disgruntlement.

i was due for a raise that was supposed to hit this paycheck i'm getting on friday.  i kinda needed that raise for that whole rent deal.
instead, it doesn't go into effect until august 1st, so i won't get it until the 15th.  booooo.
so this paycheck will suck and i will be living on ramen, but next paycheck will be baller and i will buy an armani suit.
