Where's my fucking $400, man? The new Angry/Annoyed thread

blegh I had to get new debit card. I am presuming it was the Michaels pinpad hacking thing. The bank closed my card without any kind of notification whatsoever, which is pretty fucking annoying in and of itself, but banks are all assholes so whatever.
And now the fun part of having to change numbers eeevvvverryyyyywhere

Ugh I am so grouchy.

Here's what I hate right now:

- getting invited to Facebook events the people who invited me know for a fact I can't attend (e.g., a birthday party happening tomorrow in Los Angeles)
- hot weather
- being so sleepy at 7:30 p.m.
- still having ~30 pages left to write between now and Friday
- being so grouchy

1) take a nap
2) drink some coffee
3) fuck trying to get work done, try to stay awake until at least 10, then go to bed for the night

All of these are bad ideas. Leaning toward 2, though I'm sure a headache'll ensue.

My downstairs neighbor has decided, for the past two years or so, to bang on the floor (ceiling) whenever noise goes above a level she perceives as acceptable. I'm thinking about selling my place and moving, because fuck this.

Edit: She still does it after being asked, multiple times, politely, to not do so, insisted that I didn't have enough carpeting until I showed her I did, and after I spent $4K soundproofing the floors.

Edit x 2: She is a retiree who has owned her apt for 35+ years. This is by no means a quiet neighborhood in DC.

Why don't people realize that apartment living means living in a place where they deal with extra noise? She could also sell her place and move to a HOUSE in the suburbs where her son lives.
