For some reason, up until a few weeks ago I thought Good Intentions was from Cedar Rapids.  Not sure if I was getting him mixed up with another LPTJer or if I'm just an idiot

No he's saying he's DylanThomas.

Either one.

Ha!  That would be most excellent if it turned out our DT turned out to be Elijah Wood.  We'd all have a laugh at the realization that we were all giving Frodo Baggins a raft of shit.

Ooh, there's another item for the LPTJ Welcome Basket.

These welcome baskets must be on backorder because I never got one and I'm an Aug '04 register/LPTJOG.

Moral of the story: where's my damn welcome basket?  I could care less about the bacon cups, I just want the limited edition We're Two-Bit Hustlers With Eight Bits of Hate  Dingbats EP, released only on NES Cartridge format in Dec. '88 and, as I recall, promised as a key inclusion in every single LPTJ welcome basket.

Maybe I'm remembering wrong.

Hell just give me some bacon.

That idea was scrapped when it came to light that "We're Two-Bit Hustlers..." had a run of 64 copies.  Import only.

Oh shit, you're right.  I was looking through the fourth edition (1999) of David Fricke's hefty tome Encyclopedia Dingbatica and it fails to mention that Two-Bit Hustlers was a Swaziland-only release (at the behest of King Mswati III, who is rather famously a rabid Dingbats fan).  Looks like I'll be writing Mr. Fricke yet another complaint letter, restraining order be damned.

Most of the creative writing department at my undergrad came out of there. If they were any indication, it's a pretty impressive program.

As long as we're complaining, I have to do laundry.

Also, I think the beard is going to go today. I've become interested in not drinking things through my moustache.

Seriously. I gotta load all that shit into bags, drag it down the stairs, dump it in my car, run past a cash machine, run through Target and buy more detergent, throw it in one machine, throw it in the other machine, fold everything, dump it back in the car, drag it back up the stairs, put it all away, and if I intend on being smart, I've got to run past school and pick up thesis materials to go over before heading to the laundromat.

Plus, I've got to avoid the laundromat woman who's totally in love with me, despite her exceedingly advanced age. It's weird, but they're super clean and all their machines are new.
