I just had a nice conversation with the young lady at work who usually incites a fight-or-flight response in me.  Bit by bit, I'm training my body to not release massive quantities of adrenaline when I try to talk with her.  This is good.  Though I guess it'll be bad if she gets trapped under a car or something and I need to save her and I'll be all "my kingdom for massive quantities of adrenaline"

I am going to be done with work for the day in about an hour, yay! And then I will drop off stuff at home and then go meet up with Lucy! And we will wander around Boston and enjoy the loveliness and probably browse our favorite shops and get tea and beer (drink to the last days of the Pour House) and nachos and curry and then come back to my place for some good old fashioned cat-sassing! (The cat would probably claim she sasses us, but Lucy is a pretty good sasser too.)

Today has been a very good day. Last two seminar's went swimmingly, got another essay back and another 1st, spent the afternoon drinking tea, smoking and enjoying good conversation with a top notch person, before going off to work my first shift as a volunteer at the local community centre for which I got two free pints of a really nice local ale. Like I said, today has been a good day.
