I can't remember whether I mentioned all the cheese I got in NH recently.  That was pretty great:  A pound of Cabot Private Stock sharp cheddar, 2 pounds of Cabot Vintage Select sharp cheddar, a half-pound of Yankee Cheeseman ultra-sharp cheddar, and a half-pound of a really wonderful smoked cheddar that I picked up in the Made In NH Expo.

I went to the Expo with my dad, and we agreed to meet up when we were both ready to leave.  I figured that would be pretty straightforward, as I, y'know, know what he looks like and all.  As it turns out, when you're at a big fair full of New Hampshire craftsmen, one individual ruddy-faced white-haired dude with a moustache does not really stand out.  It was like the last page of Where's Waldo.

So earlier today I went to the grocery store to buy orange juice. While I was there I decided that hamburgers sounded pretty good, so I got some beef and buns and etc. As I was perusing the meat section, I noticed a great big skirt steak on sale for like 3 bucks. I said "sweet" and put it in my cart. Then I thought, "what shall I do with this skirt steak?" Then I answered my thought with another thought. "I think I shall make tacos." So I bought some tortillas and onions and fresh cilantro and made some authentic-style tacos and hoo boy were they delicious.

Nog brought over some pastichou today. I haven't even EATEN that shit yet. I had corned beef, lox, rye bread, cream cheese, all from Zabar's, and H&H Bagels. Do you understand that I have stuffed myself tonight with fantastic food and I have an entire homemade lasagne (plus salad) that's just fucking waiting for me? This is what happens when someone dies. You buy a dozen bagels.

That's one of the central meeting spots in my town. They just sell Nutella-based foodsnacks. I have been in a Nutella pizza before... it was a lot more sugary than expected.
