I've spent the last few hours sitting in a field with a dozen or so enviromentalists, discussing the logistics of organising an eco-friendly one day music festival. Ideas included  laying all the stalls out in a spiral the pathway leading from the main stage to the dance tent, having a giant tower built in the centre, a tent teaching home brewing, have the whole thing energiesed by renewable energy, having one set of toilets for shit at one end of the location and one set of toilets for piss at the opposite end, making all the political stalls involve some sort of interactive element, inviting the tory party and putting their stall next to the toilets for shit. The whole meeting was fine, not much decided other than a general lay out and advertising plan, but I was quite aware that a couple of the others suspected me of being a corporate spy given that I was in a shirt and tie and everyone else was in beads, hemp and clogs (well maybe not, but you get the picture). It might all work very nicely, but there's a fair bit to organise if we're to get it sorted for june.

I'm a little crabby that I don't have an internet connection at my hotel while I'm here. Otherwise, I'm having a lot of fun and I'm not really looking forward to going home, actually. Anyhow, I should probably go, because I've still got a walk ahead of me, and I have to be up early again.

Dude, you're not supposed to take the acid. It's a test to see if they read through your rider which means they read through the parts about needing a reinforced stage because of all the extra pyrotechnics and stage props.

Yesterday I got to work and realized that my pen wasn't in my pocket. I figured I had just forgotten it at home and bummed one for the day. Then I get home and go to write my rent check but can't find my pen anywhere. Eventually I found another one to use, but I did not understand where my pen had gone. Figuring it was lost forever I went on with my life. But then a couple hours later I stuck my hand into my left pocket to grab my keys and there was my pen! Why was it in my left pocket? I have no idea. I NEVER put my pen in my left pocket. Always the right. To the point where I obviously didn't even think to look for it in the other pockets of my pants. But alas, there it was. And there was much rejoicing.
