Making me really annoyed: the fact that my interview just got pushed back to Friday afternoon, which pretty much kills the plan of spending a beer-drinking, chocolate-eating weekend with alex and our lurker friend. Stupid stupid stupid.

This is making me really annoyed too! Hopefully they'll at least give you the job, so it'll have been worth it.

Another thing that is making me really annoyed is the fact that I seem to be coming down with a cold.

We need to compile a compendium of lurkers whose names and addresses we know. Just in case we run out of food or something. Also, those people who join, have been members for years, log on, but never post. Those people give me the willies.

Yes, "awesome" is the most appropriate word to describe our lurker friend.

Although, to be fair, I am not entirely certain that she actively lurks here. She has definitely read the boards in the past, and even has three or four posts to her name, but I'm not sure if she ever visits here now.

I lost 40 € today. And by "lost", I mean that I wanted to get them from an ATM machine, but forgot to actually take the cash from the machine. There's still a little bit of hope that the ATM machine might have confiscated the money and put it back into my account before someone else could take it (I can't decide whether the fact that I got an error message when I tried to get money again later in the evening on another ATM is a good sign or a further annoyance), but the cash withdrawal does show up on my online banking status, so I am not terribly optimistic. Stupid.

edit: AND I seem to have lost my copy (just the disc, not the digipack) of our esteemed host's latest album.

Also, a bunch of other CDs I thought I'd taken along (not just the discs in this case) are missing, too, although I have a bit of hope that that may have just been forgetfulness.

I haven't been able to log into my paypal account in like three fucking weeks. And I've done nothing about it cuz every time I try, I wait for about ten minutes before throwing up my hands and saying fuck it. But now that I've actually got an auction going, I'd like to know things are kosher with the account.
Has anyone else had a problem with their paypal account? Every time I try to log in, it just times out.

This girl I know set up a paypal account and asked people from livejournal to donate money to her so she could pay for her cat's surgery.  She also sold some art she was collecting or something.  Cat's are probably more likely to get donations than your tooth but I bet you could make up a pretty sad story.

Had to go for ECG today at the hospital, and fasting before blood test tomorrow, and then if I get fainting or heart racey symptoms again I have to get to the hospital or the afterhours doctor as fast as possible for another ECG while the symptoms are still happening. Sucks.

Update on this: this toothache sent me to the ER. I waited for a long time in a bright room with my toothache/migraine combo and finally they gave me a prescription for Penicillin and Vicodin and sent me on my merry fucking way. Oh, and also told me that my blood pressure is high and I really ought to look into that.

Bah. Yay for more medical bills that I'll never pay, though! Hurrah! Isn't life awesome!

Damn Jeb.  Sorry to hear.  Teeth are sure a pain in the ass sometime...hope the vicodin helps.  If not I know someone who'll take it off your hands.

Also, grace, in my limited experiences, afterhours docs are the best.  They're like your bartender giving you real medical treatment.  When I was in sixth grade I had an afterhours doctor with his finger in my asshole for a good three minutes and despite the discomfort and deathly fright, he's still probably my favorite doctor I've ever dealt with.  But that's all a way different story.  I hope you're doin' ok lady!
