That just reminds me of that awful Chris Rock routine ("There'll never be a black vice president, etc etc)
I wouldn't put too much stock in the "they've fought too hard against each other thing," I mean, people said the same thing in '04 (Kerry hates Edwards for staying in the race too long, etc). They're both professional politicians and in the end they'll do what's best for their careers. But with that in mind, I think Clinton/Obama would be possibility, but Obama/Clinton ain't never going to happen. Still though, Edwards is still the likely suspect. Him or some other random white dude from a red/swing state.

VP could be someone with military experience, maybe, to counter ISLAMOFASCISM. Maybe
Wesley Clark or Jim Webb
?

Not Clark, please.
Also:
"It certainly won’t be Hillary—not with Bill rattling around the vice presidential palace. Who ever heard of a co-vice-presidency?
It is unlikely to be another woman or a Latino. Too much change, all at once."
Fuck this fucking guy.

Yup, that's what I was referencing. It was to that sketch that I referred.

Co-vice presidency! I love that the notion of Bill and Hillary being co-presidents has gone from hacky late-night shtik to accepted political history.

Everyone who runs for president has a big ego. I'm not sure what your point is.
I could see Clinton/Obama happening, because at this point the only way Clinton can win the nomination is by pressing it all the way to the convention, campaigning the superdelegates hard, and/or forcing her hand to try to get the FLA and MI delegates seated. If she wins the nomination this way, the press and a lot of Obama supporters are going to freak the fuck out, and she may court Obama for the VP slot as a way to calm that all down. "Wounded ego" or some shit aside, he's a canny politician in the end. If he stays in the Senate he might be completely forgotten by 2012 or 2016, but if he takes the VP role he positions himself well, especially if she doesn't make him give up his Senate seat to run. And he'd have the leverage to get such a concession.
Clinton, on the other hand, is more of a player in the Senate, and a VP slot would be seen as a major loss for someone who was the presumptive nominee for so long.
But yeah, Edwards/Clark/Webb, even Richardson are more likely scenarios.

i don't see any reason for this to be true. i think blucas is right on in his previous post.
also, i was just gonna post a similar link, freddy. i find that stance on her part very interesting for a number of reasons.

I was more referring to the general tone of the Obama supporters than your particular potty-mouthed-ness. Some of you guys are waging some hilarious battles considering that there aren't even any outspoken HC supporters on this board. Makes me hope he loses so you fuckers will get some thicker political skin, politically speaking.

man LPTJ is headed straight for civil war
I'm sure I'll align myself with one of the splinter factions, even though the battle is clearly and inexorably headed for a Pollo vs. Dave wizard battle on some craggy summit backlit by bolts of lightning

So a new WaPo/ABC head-to-head poll has Obama beating McCain by 12 nationwide and Clinton beating him by six.
Personally I think this uptick is thanks to FK's Unified Fatties Theory.
