yeah, definitely. i appreciate that those unions were willing to take a stand against mugabe, and it shows that sometimes there are things that ordinary people can do to stop fucked up shit from happening in the world.

because god knows what mugabe has planned for that arms shipment.

I've been watching the other movies on this person's YouTube.  Fascinating stuff, really.  The soundtracks say it all, pretty much; mostly what sounds like The Patriot soundtrack (and the historical erudition runs just this deep; one frame of text reads, "On December 16th, 1773 The American Revolution Began With The Boston Tea Party"), Aerosmith's Sweet Emotion, and I shit you not, Don MacLean's American Pie.

i don't even want to think about odds on the presidential race until the dem nomination race is over. right now i don't feel like i have the first clue what the result will be.

yeah, its a pretty sad story.

The problem is with balance of the system.  Of course we don't want the police to hesitate and risk their lives and the lives of others, but at the same time, we don't want them to be trigger happy lunatics, throwin' out 50 rounds into every drunk black guy's car. 

Unfortunately, the standard is pretty low for the police to justify shootings.  It'd be pretty hard for the judge to rule any other way.
