Hey, this is pretty funny:

A whole Slayer album AT THE SAME TIME.

I think this is actually what Hell sounds like.

Also: clearly, "Angel of Death" is the longest song on Reign in Blood.

fuuuuuuuck, i need to find bands that sound like this all the time. awesome.

also, heres a mashup of smooth criminal and the music from some NES game that totally ripped off smooth criminal

How familiar are you with Portal?  They sound like that video, are the best band in metal today, and are playing MDF.

i mean portal is rad but they dont sound like that.

this did make me pull out the s/t sissy spacek album for the first time in a while. its so close to being incredible, but its a little too noise and not enough cut up grind for me to really love i dunno.

I have loved on Beefeater for many, many years, but somehow am only just finding this.  I don't know why it's only just happening, but holy shit.  What a good fucking band.

Haha, that's crazy. Good ol' Tomas Squip. "Plays For Lovers" is an incredible LP.

So this young guy I know is in a band and they just made a video. It's also stars my buddy Eric which is cool. I have a sneaky feeling that this could be a hit. Play it if on the off chance you haven't heard enough electro pop songs lately.

And here's The Coachwhips getting in a fight at a show. Wait for 1:40. That is how you deal with arseholes at shows.

Does anyone remember talk about the festival, Pestival ? Robyn Hitchcok is very involved, if not actually curating the thing, but the (rather strange) idea is that every song played is about insects.

I fear that this might only be visible to UK people (sorry), but it's too good not to put up here:

Robyn Hitchcock - Dragonfly Me

I especially love the opening lines:
You with your fuselage
Like a crystal barge
If it's done right.

It's visible to the EU contingent, too, at least!

This is awesome, thanks Nick.

You probably could, but isn't the point something other than simultaneous sound? Or else it would have just been one cd, right?

I meant like post each disk as a youtube video, then open a couple browser tabs, stick 'em all in the youtube doubler and have at it.

But yeah, I think the point was that you need sound coming from all over the room accompanied by your stoned friends to help you hit play.

And what a thrill it was! As a side note, you always got a lesson in the fact that different CD players play at different speeds.

Wow, that sounds like it could be on a Godspeed You Black Emperor album or something.

I'm gonna play it again.

Finn and I have been having a great time for the past hour watching videos from They Might Be Giants' new kids record, Here Comes Science.

"Meet the Elements" might be the highlight:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0zION8xjbM

...but the one about the electric car is really good, too.
