I think that's probably just part of it being a university. It's really the only reason why anyone goes.
Myself, I have grown some relatively decent bruises on both my arms from yoga yesterday. Dangerous sport, you know.

It's a magical city with fairies and unicorns and baby squirrels. In my head. Sorry to get your hopes up.

back in florida. super weird. missing certain people and things. not really sure where home is. also, i just spent a week in eastern PA where i ate chips & salsa for dinner every night. my great grandmother thinks i'm the weirdest person she's ever met for not eating meat or dairy. she told several stories about squirrel pie. god, i miss tofu so hard. i am broke, i need a job, i miss my friends, ughhhhh life.

I mean, think about it, p + h = f, so voice the p and the f and you get b + h = v.

But p + h != f, but rather 'wh', like in Maori, and 'ph' in Greek'. I won't act like I knew the IPA off by heart, but wiki tells me it's ɸ, and that the voiced version, β, is common is Spanish where there are 'v's.
edit: Oh, it turns out that the Japanese 'f' is also an unvoiced bilabial fricative, rather than labiodental. Who'da thunk it?!

Oh yeah, and the 'w' is unrounded too (don't pout as you say the sound).

"The Odd Couple" satisfies as completely as "St. Elsewhere," but still fails to answer the question of quite how seriously we should take Gnarls Barkley.
Dang, salon, you're right, I don't know how seriously you should take it, maybe it's best to ask Pitchfork or something. They can give it a number grade for seriousness.

The group sometimes plays things tongue-in-cheek -- on "Blind Mary," Cee-Lo sings of love for, yes, a blind girl named Mary -- but it's equally clear that Cee-Lo is targeting the same post-racial audience that pundits have discovered in the wake of Barack Obama.
That was my favorite part

I don't think this guy was thinking while he was typing. He was just listening to music, popping his bubblegum and clattering away at the keyboard, just kinda coasting on whatever white noise was going through his stupid little head.
Seriously? "Post-racial"? Did this guy go to bed in 1952 only to wake up yesterday at his desk at Salon?
