This isn't even close to being the most traumatizing of animal-related incidents from my childhood, truth be told.

I forgot to tell you about the spider I saw in my basement earlier today. It was FURRY! SPIDERS IN MY HOUSE SHOUDN"T BE FURRY! I think it's just biding it's time until it can take me by surprise and kill me. I don't know where it is right now. Probably I should sleep with a shovel by my bed, huh? Furry spider in my house. I hate you, furry spider!

does Molly Parker's headshot feature all her lovely freckles, or are they airbrushed/foundationed out?

I do believe they are airbrushed out

NOOOOES

Oh! Don't fear! I took another look at the picture today after he opened it. Although her face ones are bleached away, the ones on her shoulders/breastplate are still there! Hooray for torso freckles!

(He thought I forged the signature but I showed him the note that'd come with the head shot, the one where she says she hates it and apologizes for its cheesiness so then I was awesome)

oh it's his birthday GOODBYE

Damn, you people are quiet today. It's bad enough that the low posting rate during my working hours is forcing me to actually do some work on a regular basis, but did you really have to choose today, where a hangover-induced headache further reduces my ability to focus on reading or writing , as a particularly quiet day? What am I supposed to do now, exactly?

Did you see the hidden picture of me that I posted yesterday?  If you want a laugh, you could go hunting for that.  Might take you a little while.

Why not work on some anagrams?  The one I did yesterday took about 4 hours.

I just snooped through your most recent posts and have no idea whatsoever what you might be referring to. And if I was mentally fit enough to work on anagrams, I guess I could just as well read up on non-euclidean geometry in modern art.

I thought you might approve of the topic! Have you ever read anything by Linda Dalrymple Henderson?

Haha, I found it now. A shame I didn't spot it in the original context.

You could admire and evaluate my brain-dump in that new thread of mine. If you wanted to appreciate the value of formal logic, like.

I should add that I feel increasingly ridiculous for being so excited about such esoteric things, if that makes anyone feel better. Perhaps we should have a new forum for people getting carried away by something? "Flights of Fancy"?

Hey, I didn't read it yet because the whole problem with today is that my attention span only lasts for two paragraphs, but I absolutely do intend to do so when my mental capabilities have recovered, and I thought it was an excellent idea for a thread. And if anything, I appreciate your ability to get carried away by such esoteric things, so don't feel ridiculous!

Anyway, I just decided to drop a couple of books off at the library and make some copies while I'm there, perhaps the walk will set my head straight. In terms of efficiency, this might not be the most obvious thing to do considering that the library is on route to my home (closer to home and than to work, too) and I could thus just as easily do it on my way home in the evening, but it might just beat sitting around and nagging.
