I have a lot of sympathy for the mentally ill. I do. I have a lot less sympathy for people who drop off mentally ill family members at hostelry establishments and force the front desk staff into an extremely uncomfortable and frustrating position. Especially when said front desk staff has no say in the matter.

On a related note, we're watching Frederick Wiseman's 'Titicut Follies' in this film class today and I'd like to take all of the laughing assholes in the audience out into the hall and beat them with a garden hose full of sand.

Its been a nice few days at my flat- one of the guys moved out and the new girl hasnt moved in yet. The other guy is away. One of the girls has been spending time at a friend's house. It leaves me and the coolest most chillaxed flatmate, Miss M, the house to ourselves. I was taking this opportunity to turn the stereo up loud and really crank the Charley Patton (woo) and Miss M by the smell of it was smoking a bowl in her room, despite everyone else in the flat having this Nazi rule that you cant smoke weed on the property (not in the garden or out the window, not on the property at all) When the other flatmate comes home. She comes to my room and is all "M's smoking! I smell it! I need your sniffer dog nose! come and smell" and I'm all, dude whatever, I didnt notice, and she knows you dont like it she probably thought you were away for the night. Thinking, god, why you drag me into this? Its your stupid rule. Last time I smoked here ( not ever having been told the rule) she came to my door and basically said " you smoke here, we'll kick you out" which lets say sorta killed my buzz, so last thing I want to do is go and wag my finger at M for being a bad girl. I dont know, the others say that weed "messes with their seratonin" or something. Fuck I need to get out of this stupid house! Grrr!

She came and apologised. And now I feel like the worst person in the world for complaining about people I live with on the internet. Especially since they are nice people and I am an ogre, which is why I am really thinking about moving. Its not you, its me. Lets be friends, and stay in touch.

I'm trying to imagine an ogre as charming, pretty and intelligent as you are, Grace, but at some stage I have to give up calling it an 'ogre'.

At the very least, it would some kind of ogre that fights with the Alliance rather than the Horde.

It would have to be a divine spell-caster ogre, possibly with the 'Awesome' domain.

I've had trouble living with you at some points, of course, but I probably wouldn't go that far, cos you probably show more restraint with flatmates than with your younger sister and mother.

OT, I hate being the person to have to organise almost everything if I want to have a party or even just hang out with people. I have one other proactive friend who had parties but now she has no house to have them in and my other friends are all "we-eelll mayyybe I'll ask if I can have a party but I doubt it" and I know they won't do it, and wouldn't consider if I didn't ask; and it's not like they don't enjoy the (mostly) fairly epic parties we throw, they just are shit at doing anything. I want the epic-ness to come to ME, goddamn!

Not to mention that last time I was living with you I was a depressed drunken morose teenager and we had to share a goddam room half the time. I dont think my flatmates have ever put their dirty socks on my pillow because I was breathing too loud in my sleep. Well, not that I've noticed.

While I don't feel horrifically ill this morning, I definitely don't feel good. Not a good start for a day that's supposed to be filled with pointless crap. I was going to do laundry today, but I might just finish what I need to finish this morning and then go back home to bed.

I was thinking more of the day in Nelson where you were super grumpy and PMS-y. That wasn't fun. The other days were mighty fine though.

(Damn you diesel and your PMS)

I don't even want to work today but I know I'm monitoring, so it'll be an easy day anyway.

I've been horribly unproductive today. Christ, so unproductive that I've not even managed to post on here more than twice. First full day of revision planned, and then squandered like a drunk and lonely date who you put in a taxi home rather than taking advantage of.

This seems to be going around. I've got like six pages to go before I'm done and just can't bring myself to it.
