Well, we finished.  But not until, like, five.  Those last two were killer.  So, that ends my nerdy, nerdy waste of a Saturday, which was awesome.

Congrats. You've got a story to tell now - it can't possibly be a waste.

Apparently there hasn't been much existence-validating going on here lately.

I finished up one of my projects for Sound Design this morning.  I had to replace all the audio in this trailer for A Scanner Darkly.  Here it is as a Quicktime movie.

Greg- Yeah I eat all of those, my veganosity only lasted a couple of months due to me being a weakwilled dairy hussy.

Lucy- Love you dear, zach won't need to make me do anything, though he probably will.

In other news, during the lst fifteen minutes I've managed to lose a hat (the only one I packed) a scarf (one of five i packed) and my house keys (although I won't be using them for a while).

Word. I was looking on Google for the review I wrote of Cache, and found this, a write-up from the Editor-in-Chief of the Herald, the student publication for which I have written/edited since freshman year. This year is the Herald's 20-year anniversary, and there was a really annoying issue dedicated to the milestone, or whatever, and this is where the write-up appeared:

Quote
A&E, meanwhile, established the irreverent "Popcorn" as a forum for Hannah Frank, '06, to mingle the past and the present, to reflect on personal yet universal experiences, and to explore, play with, and relish language with a talent, consistency, and thrill that few writers on campus can match.

Awesome.

I don't know whether this validates my existence or Gracelette's existence, but after all that walking and eating, somebody's existence probably got validated at some point.

Then my work here is done!

Man, rereading that makes me really want more Carpaccio.  Or anything else with anchovies on it.  It may be time to make some pizza.

I am at work now, being a valuable part of the economy, and earning money which I will spend, thus adding further value to the economy.

I am validated to the extreme.

Yeah, I second Androni's affirmation, by the way; and that red velvet cake? It looks unbelievably tasty. If only it were a nut that I found on the ground, and then I'd be all over it.

All of that was amazing, Greg.  The place I get my kickass sushi at here in Rock-town also has carpaccio that I am very fond of, but it's fillet mignon sliced real thin with just oil, scallions and daikon.  Man.  I haven't eaten that in a while.

It's too bad that nobody comes here. I could make a hell of a Rockford eating tour.

Very Happy

Also: Cakeman Raven is an unbelievable name for a store that sells cake.  It also might be the band name I've been searching for.

i am right now eating CHEDDAR BEER flavored kettle chips and drinking coffee and listening to the soft boys and transcribing a lease and posting on LPTJ.

and validating (or insulting) some sort of existence in the process.

Also, I got into grad school. 1,000,000 points to me.
