Lucy will drink for all of us.  Like Jesus.

I was just thinking the other night about recording a Maaik5K song; I was singing it in my kitchen.  It involved a bad impression of Maaik's voice and lines such as, "Oh I got married and moved to a new place so now I'm too damn fancy to hang out with my friends on the internet 'cause I'm big and important now, myeahhh, myeahh."

Don't let the existence of an actual 5k song stop you from doing that, Greg.

No, no; the point would have been to try to shame him into posting again, but now that he's back, there is no need.

I wish I could listen to the song now, but I'm at work; I'll have to wait until this evening.

That's funny cos everyone around us thinks it's terribly disgusting.  Including me.  It just feels so funky.  Like, warm snot in your sneakers > James Brown funky.

I don't even remember.  One of my friends candidly pointed out that the most disgusting feeling in the world was having your nose completely in someone's mouth.  tMO couldn't resist.  Turning my sinuses into a windtunnel was just her little twist on the thing, and really, the logical next step when you've got your pie hole clamped around your loved one's schnoz.

Actually hearing what it sounds like coming out of my computer speakers though: way creepy.

Well, I'm finally able to post here again.  cc: What's Making You Happy Right Now?, Who's A Drunk Poster?

I'm also sending this to the Last Plane Gmail account so I don't have to keep reposting it.  That's:

oh thank god. it's been too long, dude.

i vote that you don't have to post songs anymore just so we don't have to lose you for weeks every time you hit a milestone. because that sucked.

Ah, I wouldn't think of stopping the tradition.  It's just this time around I had a  lot of other stuff going on.

It's good to be back though.  It killed me dropping in for a few minutes at a time here and there and see all these topics that I wanted to weigh in on but couldn't.  Because I MADE A PROMISE TO MYSELF.

If someone ever gave me a noseblow, I'd probably have a reflex to just punch them.

fair enough, and honestly, i liked this song so much (it made me laugh really loud multiple times) that i'm sure i'd miss the tradition if you stopped now. also, you should really start making records that are 60-75% your normal serious music and 25-40% those kinds of songs. because, i mean, dude, all humor aside, this one was a really awesome picture of friendship. like, it worked on multiple levels. i really dug it.

I have wept at the beauty of the aforementioned song.

Also, I got another mix put together. Two hours this one. I have to clean it up and master it later today.

Fuck. I spent way too much time fixing my friend's computer tonight.
