This is hard to say without sounding stupid and petty, given the amount of work and love that goes into making these awesome mixes, but the main reason I sometimes put off checking out your mixes is that I have to reorder all the files in Itunes for them to play in order, which can take a fairly long time. But obviously when I quit being such a lazy ass, the result is always rewarding!

edit: now downloading, of course

Oh, really? I didn't realise - sorry. I have never had anything to do with itunes (or indeed i-anything). I'm a Sony Walkman man.

For what it's worth, I think the sequencing works quite well with these.

Ah, really, don't worry, I don't think there's an easy solution to those problems - it's just that I'm a bit fussy about having my playlists neatly ordered and all, and also happen to be the laziest person in the world. Looking forward to listening!

Two quick things to be aware of surrounding Ghost Box that are totally awesome:

1. Jon Brooks (The Advisory Circle) runs a great blog and digital side-label called "Cafe Kaput."

http://cafekaput.blogspot.com/

He makes a lot of great entries that can give you some insight into the sort of influences and shared UK media/cultural history that informs much of his work, like this entry http://cafekaput.blogspot.com/2011/07/return-to-nuclear-substation.html which sort of captures all of the things I love about what he does. He's also been sneaking out some great and worthwhile side releases here: http://jonbrooks.bandcamp.com/ and here http://dddenham.bandcamp.com/  and he also makes really, really great themed mixes that he'll just post on the blog from time to time that are guaranteed to turn you on to good music that you'll enjoy even if you already listen to everything.

2.  Jim Jupp (Belbury Poly) also does his "The Belbury Parish Magazine" blog - http://jimjupp.blogspot.com/ - which contains some similar stuff but may just make you aware of a lot of cool UK parties and events for Ghost Box which you can't attend, waaaah. He's also doing his own super cool side blog/persona/releases as "Pye Corner Audio" - http://pyecorneraudio.wordpress.com/
