I'm gonna see Macbeth tonight! I sure hope Patrick Stewart tells Banquo to "make it so".
sweet!!! man I'd love to see that.
This is a part of NYC I'm looking forward to!
Too bad I'll never be able to afford it.

Do they freeze well? My roommates might be pleased if there was one less jar taking up space in the fridge proper.

I'll be telling my boss today that starting June 1st, I'll be living in Chicago, and thus am on my way out of here.
Eeep.
I'm going to offer to telecommute for a couple months. We'll see how this goes. I'm fucking NERVOUS! But I do want this.

my birthday! i mention it just from the line from the sufjan steven song "on the first of june/ lost my job/ lost my room" that i was always like "hey, that date is personally relevant to my life" but you could change it to "quit my job/ got a different room!"

Last exam of the year in a couple of hours. Words can not say how glad I will be when this horror show is over. Fingers crossed that I don't choke once more.

So I'm going to law school!
I'm not quite sure where yet but I'll decide soon - either the rather familiar U of C, or NYU.
My alma mater offered me some money so the U of C would be about 40K cheaper once you do the math, so I'm probably going to stay in Chicago for a bit longer.

UPDATE: My meeting yesterday went well. Boss says he is sure we can work something out, whether it is telecommuting or working on contract or what until they get someone installed to replace me. I agree with this, it is exciting. I also told him I had applied for a job that was really attractive, so we'd have to see on that one as well. He says, I am not kidding, "It's alright, man, it's only a job. You need to be happy." We're going to have lunch today and talk about it a little more.

Thank you, my dear.

It wasn't chokefest 6.0, and despite it being the exam I was previously least hopefull about it was the only one so far I've finished with the feeling that I've done as well as I could. Best of all no more exams!

I am about to go to nature for a couple of days. the boy and I are hiking (but staying in a motel, not camping). there is an ice cave marked on the map. I haven't used my hiking boots (I almost said 'bots') in ages. I am looking forward to it!

I'm getting Korean fried chicken tonight, from the place in midtown that is so delicious it's unreal. I am more excited about this food than I have been about any other restaurant-food in a very long time.
