New all-Kim (vocals, anyway) Pixies track. Who's heard it? They spin it constant on Sirius, and I think it's terribly delicious.

*This was meant for da Earbuds. Sorry.

Doesn't it seem like the reception for this reunion has been a little tepid? I'm fucking psyched, myself.

has it only hit major radio play now?  I remember the song being released half a year ago.. with college/public service radio playing it.

Can't say I'm too in love with the song myself.  "Ah Wakka WAKKA".  It's the Ms. Fozzie Bear song!

Well, I only normally listen to Public Radio, and I'm out of the loop anyway, but the college/indie station on Sirius has been playing it to death just lately.

The Pixies should release a live album entitled "The Pixies Are Old And Fat". I'd buy it.

Anyone else have The Pixies Fuckin' DIE! tribute album?  Garageland's cover of "Allison" is cool, as is The Bethany Curve's "Gouge Away."

I haven't heard the new song, but I'm holding my breath for new Frank-led Pixies material.

hey, no pretending here--i paid FORTY FUCKING DOLLARS to see them a couple months ago, and fought my way to the very front, where i proceeded to hang off the barrier, singing along loudly and taking tons of digital camera photos (which i need to put online already...). the pixies rule, no joke.

i need to actually hear this new song, so i can participate more extensively in this thread.
