fuck, the man is a legend.  the two shows i saw were a 1000V jolt of energy, fueled by Rock Action and friends.

That is a fucking bummer. I feel like posting an older pic of him, so here he is playing with Destroy All Monsters:

And here he is with the final Stooges lineup (holding the bass):

RIP.

Very fitting pic Andrew. The drugged eyes, the terrible fashion - Ron is the only person with any dignity there.

Respect.

edit - Annoyed I have no Stooges on CD or MP3 and my turntable ain't working. I need to listen to some Stooges now!

This was definitely a bummer.  I still think the guitar part in "TV Eye" is possibly the most rock and roll thing ever recorded.  Whenever I hear that shit kick in I want to destroy everything.

Ugh. I wanted to talk about how I can't sleep, and how I'm drunk, and how much I love my job, and how stoked I am on lady, and how great my prospects for creating music are this year.

Damn. I listened to the first Stooges album for the first time in a while - first time I'd listened to any Stooges in a while, actually - just days before.

*listens to Sean Lennon*
